Senior Remote Support Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Remote Support Engineer to act as a lead technical resource within our remote support team. Senior Remote Support Engineers act as the Tier III support staff for remotely troubleshooting and addressing technical issues presented by our clients' end users. You will work as a senior member of a consultative technical team ensuring the responsive, efficient, and effective delivery of remote technical services for client networks supported by FPA.  You will be charged with performing various technical troubleshooting and problem resolution tasks remotely in our Encino office addressing issues primarily around Active Directory, Windows Workstation, Thin Clients, MS-Office, MS-Outlook, Active Directory, Desktop Security (Antivirus / SPAM, etc.) VPN Clients, and industry specific applications.

Job Description

We are seeking someone with the following experience and skills:

  • Three to five years experience in troubleshooting Windows workstations desktops for environments with 25 - 100 users
  • Deep knowledge and experience administering and supporting MS-Windows Server, MS-Exchange Server, Office 365, MS-Windows RDS Server, MS-SQL Server, MS-IIS Server, MS-Active Directory, MS Group Policy, MS-Windows Workstation (Professional & Enterprise), MS-Office, MS-Outlook, Citrix Go-To-Assist
  • Knowledge and experience with fundamental networking concepts supporting firewalls, routers, VPN's, etc
  • Intensely detail oriented!
  • Strong communication and interpersonal people skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in constantly changing work environments between different clients
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, on your own, and interact well with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to deal with conflicting demands to prioritize, address, and resolve recurring and onetime issues all while communicating consistently and effectively
